__

This will be my only Beowulf poem for fear of becoming known as "A Beowulf Poet" although I do think we need some Old English (the language, not the 40s) in our lives. I remember back to my own fumbling translations of said Anglo Saxon text while one Prof. Frances McSparran from the North of Ireland paced the room whapping a ruler into her palm. I was a young man then and didn't realize how good I had it!
