SOME LAYOUT IMPROVEMENT IN THE HOME KITCHEN

Figure [at right] shows improvement in the layout of the kitchen example. Links with longer distances and higher frequencies are good candidates for location changes with those that have shorter distances and higher frequencies. Alternative layouts of equipment can be considered by rearranging their locations and redrawing the links in order to visually evaluate the improvements and to discover further improvements.
