"bird's eye view": it's interesting how google search suggestions lead me down a path. i'm surprised by what i end up looking for. i wonder why.

"Red:" after Us, i was interested in the idea of [a body so traumatized it interrupts its own speech]. usually, punctuation offers a pause for the sake of clarity. this poem is one long sentence, interrupted by sadistically misused punctuation that obscures meaning, instead.
