TABLE CENTER IN A TROUGH

__

There are many trough-like containers available and even an oblong glass dish from the kitchen would be suitable. The container which I have selected is a rectangular shallow Denbyware dish. I have placed a small square of Oasis in the centre of the dish under the wire netting but a pinholder would serve equally well.

I have chosen apricot and orange shades to achieve an autumnal effect. Pointed flowers are scarce when chrysanthemums and dahlias are available in the autumn and, as gladioli would be far too heavy for this table centre, I have selected fifteen montbretia.
