SIX CHINESE DISHES is a set of miniatures that explore transformations between speech and music, sense and non-sense, and meaning and being. Utilizing the uttered name of each recipe as raw material, audio was sliced 'n' diced in real time through three digital signal processors in series and recycled through a feedback loop back to its input, thereby creating chaotic blossoms whose sonic
attributes are derived from the words' phonetic content.
