SUGGESTED RELATIONSHIPS OF THE VARIOUS BEHAVIORAL AND ECOLOGICAL FACTORS INVOLVED IN THE COMB DUCK'S SOCIAL SYSTEM

Figure 4 is an incomplete arrangement of some of the presumed main relationships involved in the Comb Duck's social system. Further studies are needed to confirm these and other relationships. In particular, information is needed on reproductive success and survival rates of monogamous and polygynous females.
