DOLL

The invention consists, mainly, in the provision of a doll or the like of which the facial expression changes gradually as, for instance, from sadness to cheerfulness.

Further, the invention consists in the provision of a doll or the like of which the facial expression will change gradually when picked up from a reclining or sitting position and rocked as in the act of caressing.

Further, the invention consists in the provision of a doll of which the pleasant facial expression produced by rocking will be maintained so long as the doll is not placed in a recumbent position.

Further, the invention consists in the provision of a doll which, when in a recumbent position on one of its sides, will maintain a pleasant expression, but which, when placed upon its other side will immediately resume a fretful expression.
