THE GENDER BEHAVIOUR OF THE COLLECTOR USING FUZZY QUANTIFIERS

This brings us to gender as a parameter of collecting. Generally speaking, and for reasons that we can speculate about, people collect within, rather than in opposition to, the standard gender stereotypes, particularly in terms of what they collect. This is broadly true, even if the analysis of individual collectors can sometimes show a degree of fuzziness in their relationship to traditional gender roles. Digger's analysis of the Tie Collector (Digger forthcoming), using Fuzzy Quantifiers shows this very well.
